Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.
To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.
Special information for processing New Jersey returns
The application generally does not include the information entered in the shaded fields on that state's apportionment form nor is the corresponding amount in the Everywhere / (Override) column included in the everywhere amount. However, due to New Jersey's unique reporting requirements, the application includes amounts accumulated in the Everywhere / (Override) column for Origin Sales shipped to US Government and Origin Sales Shipped to Non-taxable Juris sales components in the total New Jersey sales amount on Schedule J, Part III, line 2(g).

Alternate Apportionment group box
Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. Entries in these fields take precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

Apportionment Form Combination Tables Guide
Click the following link to view the Apportionment Form Combination Tables Guide. These tables describe how fields from the Apportionment Information spreadsheet and the apportionment tab, if applicable, are combined onto the apportionment form.
