Plan Administrator

Plan Administrator information same as sponsor

Enter X if the name and address of the Plan Administrator is the same as the Plan Sponsor. Entering an X in this field also marks the Same as Plan Sponsor checkbox on Form 5500 or Form 5500-SF, and leaves the Plan administrator section blank.

Individual signing for plan administrator

This designates the name of the person whose electronic signature information (User ID and PIN) you enter on the ELF screen as plan administrator. The name you enter prints on the form, not in the actual signature field. The return still needs to be signed on the line above the Signature of Plan Administrator text.
