Indiana allows a credit on Schedule 6 or Schedule G for contributions made to eligible Indiana colleges and universities. The credit itself is calculated via Schedule CC-40.
If the contribution was entered on federal Screen A as a Cash or Noncash charitable contribution, include in the statement dialog the name of the institution, the date the contribution was made, the amount, and the 4-digit institution code.
If the contribution was not entered on federal Screen A, enter the applicable information in the CC-40 statement dialog on Screen INCr in order to calculate Schedule CC-40.
