New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

To find the Political Subdivision code (PSD code) that is associated with the city code entered in Setup > 1040 Individual > Pennsylvania tab > Local cities, follow the steps below:

1. With the Pennsylvania return open, go to Help > Tax Subject Index.
2. Click the Web Form Instructions button.
3. Select the PSD code and tax rates based on home and work addresses link. Click the Go To button.
4. Enter in the Home address and the work location address of the employee.
5. Click the View Report button. The report that prints will give the PSD codes for both the home and work address entered.
