New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

If your firm licenses both UltraTax CS and Fixed Assets CS, you can print Fixed Assets CS reports from within UltraTax CS. To do so, follow the steps below.

In Fixed Assets CS

1. With a client open in Fixed Assets CS, choose File > Print.
2. Select the reports that your firm would like to print in UltraTax CS.
3. Click the Profile button, enter a profile name and mark the checkbox to print with the client and/or preparer collation in UltraTax CS.
4. Click Add.
5. Click Cancel.

In UltraTax CS

When the client is printed in UltraTax CS, the profiles that were selected in Fixed Assets CS to print with the client and/or preparer collation will print with the tax return.

Open the client in UltraTax CS and choose File > Print Returns. Mark the appropriate copy (client or preparer) and click Print or Preview.
