Perform the steps in this procedure to automatically complete or recalculate the amounts in the AMT, E&P, and/or ACE columns in the Depreciation tab of the asset module. You would use this procedure if, for example, you added one of these columns for the open client.
Note: You can generate AMT, E&P, and ACE for all assets by building the treatments.
- Open the Asset List window for an activity.
- Select the asset for which you want to generate amounts and click the Modify button.
- In the Asset Detail dialog, perform one or more of the following tasks.
- To generate amounts for the AMT column, choose Tasks > Generate AMT Column.
- To generate amounts for the E&P column, choose Tasks > Generate E&P Column.
- To generate amounts for the ACE column, choose Tasks > Generate ACE Column.
Note: Each Generate command is available only if the corresponding column has been set up for the open client.
Tip: You can also access the Generate commands by right-clicking in the Asset Detail dialog and choosing the appropriate command from the context menu.
