Use Form 1040X to amend Form 1040NR. For data entry in UltraTax CS, follow the steps in Completing amended returns.
Only the following parts of Form 1040X will fill out:
- Page 1:
- Name
- Current address
- SSN or ITIN
- Page 2:
- Explanation of changes
All other lines and parts of Form 1040X will be blank, per the IRS. For more information, see the Form 1040X instructions and IRS Publication 519: U.S. Tax Guide for Aliens.
Use Form 1040X to amend Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ. For data entry in UltraTax CS, follow the steps in Completing amended returns.
