UltraTax CS offers several ways to send information. Deciding what information you want to send and to whom you want to send it will help you determine which method is appropriate for your situation.

Sending items to clients

You can send tax returns to your clients as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. In addition, if you use the Data Mining feature to create client letters, you can send these to your clients as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Sending items to another computer or to others in your firm

You can send client data, documents, system settings, product settings, CS Connect updates, or Data Mining reports, letters, or searches to an encrypted file that UltraTax CS attaches to a blank email message; you can send this file via email to another computer or to others in your firm. Sending items to an UltraTax CS representative via CS Connect

There may be times when you need to send client data to CS Support to troubleshoot application issues. UltraTax CS enables you to send the client data via CS Connect. For more information, see Sending client data to CS Support via CS Connect.
