Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. The ability to share general client and employee data is available among the software products in the CS Professional Suite - including CSA, Practice CS, Creative Solutions Practice, Fixed Assets CS, and UltraTax CS. Data sharing also works within CSA to automatically fill in new employee or client data from another employee or client with a matching SSN or EIN.

To enable data sharing in CSA, choose Setup > System Configuration > Administration dialog, click the Data Sharing tab, and then mark the Enable Data Sharing checkbox. The lower portion of that dialog explains how to activate data sharing.

Note: Use the File Locations tab of the Setup > User Preferences dialog to specify the data folders for your other CS Professional Suite software products.
