Use the Security tab to assign staff members who use Accounting CS Client Access in the client's office to the appropriate client security groups, enabling access to only those areas of the application that are selected for that group. You can define privileges for each security group in the Setup > Firm Information > Client Security Groups screen.
Choose Setup > Firm Information > Client Staff and click the Security tab.
Notes
- As a one-time initial step, you must first mark the Enable firm security checkbox in the Setup > Firm Information > Firm > Preferences tab.
- This screen enables you to specify which areas of the application the client staff member can access. To specify which client records the client staff member can access, use the Setup > Firm Information > Client Staff > Client Access tab.
