Form processing tips

  • A liability adjustment is automatically created for the Compensation Deduction whenever payroll checks are printed. To turn off this calculation, mark the Do Not Calculate Compensation Deduction checkbox in the Adjustment Options section of the Setup > Firm Information > Tax Agents screen (for new clients) or the Agent tab of the Setup > Vendors screen (for existing clients).
  • Form MODES-4-7 - If an employee is a probationary employee, mark the Probationary checkbox in the Reporting Types section of the Setup > Employees > Personal tab.

Unemployment ID: 2 digits, followed by a dash, followed by 5 digits, followed by a dash, followed by a digit or letter, followed by a dash, followed by 2 digits.

Note: You can enter the 7 digits then a letter, or a digit then 2 digits. The program will format with dashes in the correct locations.
