To open the Transmittal Letter Editor, choose Transmittal Letter from the Setup menu, or click the icon on the shortcut bar.

The menu bar at the top of the Transmittal Letter Editor window provides commands that enable you to perform various editing tasks. The following menu options link to associated Help topics that describe the menus in further detail.

Special information

For many frequently used menu commands (such as New Letter or Insert Variable), keyboard shortcuts enable you to quickly execute the command. For example, when the Transmittal Letter Editor window is open, you can press CTRL+N to open a new document. When available, keyboard shortcuts are listed next to the commands in the pull-down menus.
