Customizing signoff types

You can define up to five types of signoff designations to use for engagements or documents from the Setup > System Configuration > Signoff Types dialog in CSA. A Preparer (Type 1) and a Reviewer (Type 2) signoff type are already provided by default, and you may define up to three additional signoff types.

  1. Choose Setup > System Configuration > Signoff Types to open the Signoff Types dialog. (Note that Preparer and Reviewer are the default Type 1 and Type 2.)
  2. To customize a type, highlight Type 3, 4, or 5 and click the Edit button.

    Note: The Edit button is enabled only if Type 3, 4, or 5 is selected.

  3. Enter a type name in the Type field.
  4. Enter a description in the Description field.
  5. Click the Enter button to save the customized type.
  6. Click the Done button to close the Sign Off Types dialog.
