Use the Tickmarks dialog to set up or edit tickmarks for use in the Trial Balance window when reviewing the client's accounts.
Choose Setup > Tickmarks.
Fields & buttons
Displays all existing tickmarks and their descriptions.
If you choose to add a tickmark, enter the new symbol in this field. A tickmark can be up to three alphanumeric characters.
Notes
- You must be in Add mode to access this field. (Only the description for an existing tickmark can be modified, not the tickmark itself.)
- You may use any combination of characters except the backslash ( / ) to designate a tickmark.
Enter up to 35 alphanumeric characters for the tickmark description.
Note: You must be in Add or Edit mode to access this field.
