System Configuration / Document Names tab

Use this tab to add and maintain frequently used document names in a custom list. You can then access these names in a drop-down list within dialogs used to store images and documents in FileCabinet CS.

Note: For information on other methods for adding frequently used document names, see Adding and maintaining document and image names in a custom list.

To open this tab, choose Setup > System Configuration and click the Document Names tab.

Note: This tab is not available if your security configuration is set to restrict access to the System Configuration dialog and you did not enter the master password in the Security tab.

Fields & buttons

Displays the current list of document names that will be available when you add documents and images to FileCabinet CS.

Click this button to add a new name to the Document names list. When you click the Add button, a cursor appears in the field beneath this button. Begin typing to enter a new name. See Adding and maintaining document and image names in a custom list for more information.

Click this button to edit the document name you have highlighted in the Document names list. See Adding and maintaining document and image names in a custom list for more information.

Click this button to delete the document name that is highlighted in the Document Names list.

This field displays the document name that is currently highlighted in the Document names list. When you click the Add or Edit buttons, this field changes from read-only to an active state, allowing you to add or edit a document name.
