This topic describes the behavior of various options that are available when you set up the template for new clients and transfer template items to existing clients.
When you update existing associations, any associations that are already enabled for the specified clients are updated with the association values that are set up in the template.
Association values that are set up for the client but not present in the template will not be modified or deleted.
When you update clients with new associations, any associations that are set up in the template but not enabled for the selected clients are added to the selected clients.
When you choose to update existing treatments, the treatments that are already enabled for the specified clients are updated with the treatments values that are set up in the template.
When you update clients with existing treatments, Fixed Assets CS automatically recalculates current depreciation. We recommend that you review the recalculated amounts.
When you update clients with new treatments, any treatments that are set up in the template but not enabled for the selected clients are added to the selected clients.
When you update Setup > Options, all settings in the selected clients' Setup > Options > Calculation tab are reset to match the settings in the template.
When you update the clients' Calculation tab with the settings from the template, Fixed Assets CS automatically recalculates current depreciation. We recommend that you review the recalculated amounts.
When you update clients that have existing print profiles, the selected clients' current print profiles that have the same name as profiles in the template are updated.
When you update clients with new print profiles, any new print profiles are copied from the template to the selected clients.
