Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Fields & buttons

General information group box

UltraTax CS uses information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet.

Officer salaries

Enter officer salaries for Oklahoma Form 514, Page 3, Apportionment Formula, line 2b.

Alternate apportionment group box

Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. Entries in these fields take precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

Alternate apportionment type code

Indicate that you are using an apportionment method other than sales to calculate the sales factor. Use the drop-down list to make your choice. If you enter data in this field, UltraTax CS uses the numbers from the Alternate apportionment factors: Oklahoma and Everywhere fields on the Total Sales line on Form 514, Page 3. UltraTax CS ignores all apportionment entries made in the Sales tab when calculating the Oklahoma return.

If an alternate sales apportionment has been selected in the Alternate apportionment type code field, UltraTax CS uses entries from these fields to complete the Total Sales line of Form 514, Page 3. UltraTax CS ignores all apportionment entries made in the Sales tab when calculating the Oklahoma return.
