Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Fields & buttons

Alternate Apportionment group box

Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. The information you enter in these fields takes precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

If the partnership qualifies as a railroad company, enter the amount of revenue in the South Carolina and Everywhere fields. UltraTax CS calculates the apportionment factor for Form SC1065, Page 2, line 18.

If the partnership qualifies as a motor carrier, enter the mileage in the South Carolina and Everywhere fields. UltraTax CS calculates the apportionment factor for Form SC1065, Page 2, line 18.

If the partnership qualifies as a pipeline company, enter the amount of revenue in the South Carolina and Everywhere fields. UltraTax CS calculates the apportionment factor for Form SC1065, Page 2, line 18.

If the partnership qualifies as an airline and shipping company, enter the amount of revenue in the South Carolina and Everywhere fields. UltraTax CS calculates the apportionment factor for Form SC1065, Page 2, line 18.
