A 14-digit BSA Identifier is issued when FinCEN Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) (formerly Form TD F 90-22.1) is electronically filed on the BSA E-Filing System website or filed using UltraTax CS. To amend FinCEN Form 114, do the following:

  1. Enter the previously assigned 14-digit number in the BSA Identifier / BSA identifier of previously filed report field in Screen 114. The BSA Identifier is printed on Form 9325, Acknowledgement and General Information for Electronically Filed Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts.
  2. Enter M (Amended) in the Amended or late filed form field in the Other Information section in Screen 114.
  3. Check for and correct any electronic filing errors.
  4. Create the electronic file.
  5. Once the electronic file is successfully created, transmit the electronic file using CS Connect.

Notes

  • UltraTax CS automatically updates the BSA Identifier and the FinCEN Form 114 has already been filed field in Screen 114 after you retrieve an acceptance of the amended FinCEN Form 114.
  • You can amend FinCEN Form 114 as many times as necessary.
