New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

You can initiate eSignatures for returns and forms for your clients from UltraTax CS .

Forms

UltraTax CS allows eSignatures for the following 1040, 1120, and 1065 authorization forms:

You can also use eSignatures for the following documents in any return type that supports them:

  • FinCEN Form 114a, Record of Authorization to Electronically File FBARs
  • Engagement Letter
  • Consent to Disclose and Use Tax Information (IRC Section 7216)
  • Bank Account Verification

Note: The number of times a form can be eSigned varies by form. If changes occur, some forms must be manually signed after the initial eSignature has been submitted.

Pricing

You can choose between per-document or unlimited pricing options. For pricing information on unlimited packages, contact your sales representative. If you don't have an unlimited package, you will incur a nominal, per-document/package of documents fee for each successful completion of eSignatures. You can view fee amounts on the CS Professional Suite Price List. You can also view examples of common pricing scenarios.

A package is a document or set of documents included in a single transmission. Fees are only charged when all signatures for the package are successfully completed.

Note: Fees do not apply to unsuccessful eSignatures such as an expiration. The nominal, per-package eSignature fee applies only for successful eSignatures.
