For payroll compliance (annually licensed)

Use the Transmission Information dialog to enter or change the information that will be used when sending the electronic form.

Choose Actions > Process Electronic Forms and click the Transmission Information button.

Fields & buttons

File contact. Select the staff member to contact if there are any problems with the file. The staff available from the drop-down list are those for whom the Payroll form preparer checkbox is marked in the Main tab of the Setup > Firm Information > Staff screen.

EFIN. Enter the federal EFIN for federal electronic form transmission and also for Michigan state electronic files.

Firm Name Control.

Reporting Agent PIN.  Enter a 5-digit, numeric PIN to use as the firm's electronic filing signature. This PIN is assigned by the IRS for electronic signers.

Confirm PIN.

Agent number. If your firm has received an agent ID from the state of Florida, enter that ID here, formatted as A + 00 + a five digit number.

Note: If your firm does not meet the requirements for filing as an agent and the state has not sent your firm an Agent ID, it is important to leave this field blank. Entering an incorrect ID here will cause the state to reject your electronic files. For further information, please refer to the Enrolling clients for Florida electronic filing topic.
