Special information
- Staff working in an engagement must have the appropriate security privileges so that their Staff IDs appear in the Staff Assignment grid. Refer to the following security topics for more information.
- You can right-click the engagement binder briefcase icon in the Engagement Binders Tree portlet and choose Properties to add a new or modify an existing engagement binder directly in the Workpapers Dashboard. See Using the Engagement Binders Tree portlet for details.
- In an Audit-type engagement, you must comply with either the Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 103 for non-public clients or the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standard No. 3 and indicate whether the engagement is a public or a non-public audit and enter a report release date in the Audit Documents Date section. The application uses the report release date to display a reminder when the 45 (public) or 60 (non-public) day documentation completion date deadline is approaching and the engagement must be finalized.
