Assign staff privileges to staff members in the New Engagement wizard (New Engagement - Staff Privileges). The Employee IDs listed in the upper pane are those that have been selected on the Workpaper Assignment page of the wizard. The Staff Privileges tab on the lower portion of this page of the New Engagement wizard lists the tasks that you can choose for an individual staff member of the engagement.

Any privileges selected on this tab will override the global settings that were selected the Groups tab of the Setup > System Configuration > Administration dialog. (See Setting up group and staff privileges for users of Engagement CS.)

  1. Highlight the Employee ID in the upper pane of the Workpaper Assignment page of the New Engagement wizard.
  2. Mark the appropriate privileges that you wish to assign to the selected staff member(s) for the current engagement.
  3. Click the Finish button to save the settings defined in the New Engagement wizard when you have completed setting up the engagement.
Notes
  • The global privileges that have been previously set up on the Groups tab of the Setup > System Configuration > Administration dialog in CSA are the ones that automatically fill in when the Staff Privileges tab is selected. (See Setting up group and staff privileges for users of Engagement CS.)
  • All privileges that have been set up globally in CSA for staff members belonging to more than one group appear by default on the Staff Privileges tab of the Workpaper Assignment page. These options are overridden by any changes that you make on the Staff Privileges tab at the engagement level.
