Show expandable text

Documents are stored in FileCabinet CS through the Print dialog in other CS Professional Suite applications.

  1. From within the application in which the document was created, open the Print dialog. (For details on printing from other CS Professional Suite applications, see the help for the application from which you are printing.) If you are printing from UltraTax CS, choose File > Print Returns to open the Print Returns dialog.
  2. Mark the Store image in FileCabinet CS or FileCabinet CS checkbox (varies depending on the application). If necessary, select the desired FileCabinet CS data location from the adjacent drop-down list. This list appears as a read-only field if your firm currently has only one data location.
  3. Select the documents to store and/or print.
  4. Click the To Cabinet button or Print button at the bottom of the dialog.
  5. In the FileCabinet CS Documents dialog, enter the name of the document as you want it to appear in FileCabinet CS (if different from what is displayed). If appropriate, select the desired FileCabinet CS data location from the Store image in FileCabinet CS or FileCabinet CS field. This appears as a read-only field if your firm currently has only one data location.
  6. Click OK to store the document in FileCabinet CS.
