Creating a print profile

To create a print profile, perform the following steps.

  1. Open the desired client.
  2. Choose File > Print.
  3. In the Print dialog, double-click the reports and/or forms you want to include in the print profile to move them to the Selected pane.
  4. If you want to modify the report options for any of the reports or forms, highlight the desired report or form, and then click the Options button.
  5. After you are done selecting the forms and reports and modifying the print options, click the Profile button.
  6. In the Profile dialog, enter a name for the new profile. This profile includes all of the forms and reports currently shown in the Selected pane of the Print dialog.
  7. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the collation sequence of specific reports.
  8. Mark the Staple all forms and reports together when printing to FileCabinet CS / GoFileRoom / File Drawer checkbox to send all reports and forms as a single item. If you do not mark this checkbox, each form and report appears separately in FileCabinet CS / GoFileRoom / File Drawer.
  9. If you are licensed for and have installed UltraTax CS, you can mark the checkboxes to include the profile in the client and/or preparer tax return collations.
  10. If you want to be able to include the current client when printing reports for multiple clients, mark the Designate as batch print profile checkbox.
  11. Click the Add button to save the profile and return to the Print dialog.

The profile you created is now listed in the Profile tab on the Print dialog.
