Home

We’ve resolved an issue where columns were not moving to the proper position when attempting to drag and drop them.

General

We’ve resolved the issue that was causing an error message to appear when attempting to view emails stored in GoFileRoom.

Document Search

  • Based on customer requests, we’ve added Document ID as an optional column when viewing search results in the Document Search screen.
  • We’ve resolved an issue that caused some indexes (like Client Numbers) to display incorrectly when using uncommon formatting, such as multiple decimals or slashes.
  • We’ve resolved an issue that caused the Document Explorer view to limit the number of items when a search returned a large number of results.
  • We’ve standardized the Document Search and Classic search right-click menus for consistency.

Reports

  • The Document Tracking report is now properly reflecting the disabled state in right-click menu as applicable.
  • The Client Flow Mapping Report now properly renders as a simple report, and no longer has clickable ranges that generate errors if clicked.

Single sign-on (SSO)

  • We’ve made the following changes to the login process to improve the usability of SSO, and to prepare for SSO support in the Client add-ins:
    • When first logging into GoFileRoom, users will be presented only with the Username field. Once the username is entered, the system will present the password field if SSO enforcement is not enabled.
    • If a firm has enabled SSO enforcement, the system will redirect the user to their firm’s identity provider login screen. Once they’ve authenticated successfully, they will be logged into GoFileRoom.
    • Note: GoFileRoom Administrators will be able to bypass SSO and login with password as normal.

  • When SSO enforcement is enabled, the ability to change user passwords will no longer appear in the user preferences menu for non-Administrators.
  • We’ve resolved an issue that was preventing search results from loading properly for SSO users, when attempting to open a document from the GoFileRoom ribbon in Excel and Word.
  • We’ve resolved an issue that was preventing search results from loading properly for some SSO users, when attempting to open a document from the GoFileRoom ribbon in Excel and Word.
