Updating licenses and logging in to CS Professional Suite applications

Show expandable text

Licensing determines the type of account that is used to log in to CS Professional Suite applications. When product subscriptions are updated to add or remove licensing, the account type used to log in may change.

Complete the steps below to obtain new licenses and determine which account type to use.

  1. Navigate to the WinCSI folder on your system.
  2. Rename the Licenses folder adding .old to the end of its name.
  3. Open your various CS Professional Suite applications. When prompted, provide your Firm ID and PIN number and complete the CS Connect process to obtain new licenses.

When entering your Firm ID and PIN for UltraTax CS, check the Delete all previously installed UltraTax CS Product Group license box.

  4. Once licenses are installed, see CS Professional Suite security overview to determine what type of account to log in with, as well as how to setup and maintain accounts.

If you wish to cancel products for any reason, see Cancelling your recurring CS Professional Suite services.
