GoFileRoom

• Application performance optimization remains top priority for Thomson Reuters. We've made several modifications on this release to assure GoFileRoom and AdvanceFlow’s stability. These are proactive measures to both supporting servers and the application’s code that will contribute to a better experience.
• We've made application changes to solve an issue where the Document Search displays no content, except for the headers such as Home, Search Documents, Add Documents, Reports, etc. This often appeared as a blank screen, and was limited to particular workstations in Document Search.
• We've addressed an issue that prevented documents from being Published (or Unpublished) to the ClientFlow portal. This was an issue specific to the Document Search screen in GoFileRoom and now works from both the Document Search and Classic Search screens.
• Support for previewing JPEG file type has been added to this release. Previously, a message appeared “Cannot preview this filetype in browser. Please choose to Edit or Export to continue”.
• We've addressed an issue that only showed when the user preference for Start on this page was setup to direct to the Home Page. Non-admin users could experience a blank home page, and it failed to load content.
• Result of a recent review, we've made several enhancements to identify security and identify vulnerabilities. We've recently concluded a review and have made several updates in effort to uphold our high standards that will contribute to keeping your data safe.

API’s and automation tools

Thomson Reuters continues to invest resources into supporting, promoting, and creating our open API environment – both for customers to use and for third-party companies to enhance their service capabilities. • We've addressed an issue when using the Edit Workflow API to route a workflow to the Completed step. Previously, It resulted in an error if the Assigned To field was left blank. This function is now working as designed.
• We've addressed an issue with the Routing Summary API response, so that is correctly returns the most recent user or pool. Previously the time stamp that was returned mistakenly pulled the Assigned By, rather than Assigned To.
• We've addressed an issue when using the Document Re-index API. Previously, it was not possible to re-index a document associated to an inactive client. In addition, whenever an API reindex failed, the application appended 'Exported Document' to the document history in error.

Reminder: Client Add-In version 22.1.10 is now available

We recommend that you install the latest version of the GoFileRoom Client Add-in with this release.

GoFileRoom and AdvanceFlow supports the current, and one prior version of the Client Add-In. If your firm experiences any issues, verify your users have the latest version of the Client Add-In installed.

To download an Add-In, select your name on any GoFileRoom screen and choose the desired Add-In from the dropdown list. Go to our previous user bulletin to find more details about the v22.1.10 add-in.
