Wrong language in internet browser

You will need to consult your internet browser's help for instructions on how to change the language settings.

Part of the screen is cut-off or missing

Follow the steps in the Buttons or options are missing or cut off article.

A supported browser blocks pop-ups in GoFileRoom

Change the browser's privacy or security settings by entering [*.]gofileroom.com in the list of sites that are allowed pop-ups.

Microsoft Office document won't open in View Mode

Follow the steps in the Documents opened in View mode open outside the browser window article.

Microsoft Excel and Word appear to be frozen

If you've previously opened Windows using a docking station connected to a different display device, the next time you open Windows, Word or Excel might be displayed outside your current screen. You'll need to update your Windows display settings to solve this problem.

Adobe PDFs don't open correctly

Unable to save document to GoFileRoom or Invalid Procedure call at line 300 errors

  1. Enter Command in the Windows Search box.
  2. Select Command Prompt.
  3. Enter regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\Common Files\glsZip.dll".
  4. Press Enter, then select OK.
  5. Open the command window again and enter regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\Common Files\glsZip.dll".
  6. Press Enter, then select OK.

GoFileRoom installation problems

  1. Before you install GoFileRoom, check that Windows User Account Control (UAC) is switched off or to its lowest setting, and that the workstation has been restarted.
  2. Check that the current user account is a local administrator.

Thomson Reuters Workflow Tools Add-Ins

  1. In Microsoft Edge, select Tools, then Internet Options.
  2. On the Programs tab, select Manage add-ons.
  3. Select All add-ons from the Show drop-down list.
  4. Check that the following Thomson Reuters add-ins are enabled.
    • gfrPDFModify.PDF
    • GoFileRoom.CheckOut
    • TR.FileRoom.Client.OfficeAddin
    • GFRDownloadClient.Download
  5. Carry out the following for each Add-In.
    • Right-click the Add-In and select More Information, from the context menu.
    • Select Allow on all sites, then Close.

Scanstation is slow or unresponsive

Check that the workstation meets our system requirements.

Actions blocked when using GoFileRoom

Configure the WAN failover and load balancing settings of you firewall.

For example, using a SonicWall Firewall, configure Basic Active/Passive Failover with Preempt and failback to Primary WAN when possible checked, or Percentage-Based with Use Source and Destination IP Addresses Binding checked.

Problems with PPC and SMART documents

Make sure that users have Full control permissions for the C:\ProgramData\AdvanceFlow folder.
